Privacy notice
What is collected
Your name and email address from the sign-in provider (GitHub or Google). Your progress: your profile, path, lessons, scores, the tutor’s notes and a history of changes. The AI apps you allowed to use LessonFolk. Your sessions, with the browser you used.
Not collected: passwords (there are none), your conversations with your AI app, analytics or advertising cookies.
Why
To sign you in and to save your progress. Nothing else. Legal basis: providing the service you asked for.
How long
Your data is kept until you delete your account. Sessions expire after 7 days. Server logs are kept for at most 30 days. Backups are kept for at most 35 days, so deleted data leaves them within 35 days.
Your rights
On the Account page you can download all your data, and delete your account and everything linked to it, at any time. You can also ask the contact below to correct your data or answer a question.
Who sees it
Only you, and the person who runs this LessonFolk. Your data is not sold or shared with advertisers. It is stored by the hosting provider of this server.
Prefer not to send your data?
LessonFolk is open source. You can run it on your own computer, with no sign-in, and nothing leaves it. The steps are in the project’s documentation on GitHub.
